Big Dreams Culminate in the Lower School Renovation

Michael McInturf wants students to be able to say “that’s my lower school.” As the architect for the Lower School Renovation project and CCDS parent of three lifers, McInturf wants to “create an identity for the Lower School because right now it doesn’t have a strong enough presence.” This year will usher in the transformational changes to the building’s structure.

Next year, he will be moving to La Jolla (pronounced Hoya) Country Day in San Diego, where he will be filling the position of the Head of the Upper School.

As she has worked at Country Day for twelve years, everyone knows Mrs. Legette’s name and wants to be in her class. But next year, there will be a hole in the community as this legend is leaving at the end of this school year.

The team proved that they are extremely competitive with the elite teams of the league: CHCA and Cincinnati Christian. The baseball team had a nerve-wracking game with CHCA on Monday afternoon, April 29th. Going into the game, the team was nervous; they were aware CHCA was a formidable opponent.
