Upper School students design bow ties to aid scholarship funds


By Sabrina Finn ‘14, Contributor. The idea for the bowtie project began with Dhani Jones’s “Bow Ties for a Cause.” Now the project has come to CCDS, where the money from the sales will go towards the school’s scholarship funds.

Nineteen new students join Upper School


The Upper School welcomes 19 new students, continuing a trend of 16 to 20 new students a year that began in the 2003-2004 school year. Despite the large number of new students, this year’s Upper School is slightly smaller, partly because the freshman class is slightly smaller than last year’s senior class. Overall, CCDS has 25 to 30 fewer students than last year.
