Despite the long and historic legacy of CCDS pen-flippers, something horrible is happening to this Country Day tradition: its use seems to be in decline. It is becoming more and more uncommon to see fellow classmates flipping away during class. The question is “where has the pen flip gone?”

On Tuesday, Dec. 8, CCDS came together for the Fifth Annual Wrap-In. Students from all divisions worked together to wrap a total of over 800 presents, enjoying cookies and holiday songs afterward. The gifts go to needy families in the Cincinnati area.

On Monday, Nov. 23, and Tuesday, Nov. 24, more than 500 grandparents and friends visited the Lower and Middle Schools for the annual Grandparents’ Day. Students invited their grandparents or other friends to come and enjoy the CCDS experience.
