PHOTO GALLERY: CCDS Gymnastics finishes second on Senior Night


By Edwin Sam, Sports Section Editor. On Valentine’s Day, the Country Day Gymnastics team hosted a quad meet on its senior night. Seniors Audrey McCartney ‘12 and Sadie Lindner ‘12 handed their parents flowers before leading the to a second place finish. CCD beat the likes of Lakota West and Miamisburg, but lost to Turpin.

Armstead’s run to state caps off successful girls track season

On Friday, June 4th, 2010, Erika Armstead finished third in the Ohio state long jump event. This strong finish brought to a close a season in which the Indians won their third consecutive MVC championship and their 20th district title since 1985.

Coach Spotlight: Conner a CCDS great


By Cody Pomeranz, ‘11, Sports Section Editor. Few coaches in the state have enjoyed the kind of success Coach Steve Conner has had throughout his tenure at CCD. Entering his 20th year at the school, Conner has coached three separate sports for a combined 60 seasons by the end of this school year.
