Freshman Patrick Wildman finishes tennis run for state with 3rd place


By: Hannah Stewart ‘12 A&E Editor. On Saturday, May 28th, Patrick Wildman concluded his first high school tennis season with an outstanding 3rd place finish at the state tournament. After losing the day before to Chris Diaz (a Columbus Bishop Watterson senior who will play at Ohio State) who beat Joey Fritz in his own state run last year, Wildman played in a consolation match against sophomore James Trevino of Tippecanoe.

Science Olympiad rises above competition, qualifies for State


By Holly Dayton ’13, Perspectives Editor. After a spectacular performance this past Saturday at the Cincinnati Regional Competition, the Science Olympiad team is advancing to State, to compete against the 40 best teams in Ohio.

Blackburn sisters Elizabeth, Caroline make a run at State

Elizabeth and Caroline Blackburn are headed to State in doubles. They are ranked 2nd in their division going into the first round, which will be played at Ohio State University today.

Boys swimming relay confident going into state


By Cody Pomeranz, ‘11, Sports Section Editor. Nathaniel Adams, Isaac Guttman, Jimmy Stafford, and J.R. Strubbe will compete in the State Tournament beginning Friday night at Canton McKinley High School in Canton, Ohio.
