Suburban College Fair attracts almost 1800 people


By Annie Nesbitt ‘13, Contributor. A huge crowd of 1,798 people flocked to the Suburban College Fair on September 29th, triple the number of people who have attended the fair in the past. The fair was co-hosted by CCDS, The Seven Hills School, Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy, and The Summit Country Day School.

Lindsay Dougan investigates juniors’ summer plans

For many, college anxiety starts in ninth grade


By Holly Dayton, ‘13, Contributor. While seniors are battling senioritis and juniors are overloaded with work, many freshmen are stressing about their college prospects. In preparation for their futures, 11 freshmen took the January SAT at CCDS this year, accounting for 18% of high students taking the test during that date.

Cincinnati Magazine editors visit, defend omission of CCDS from “Best High Schools” issue

Two editors from Cincinnati Magazine who visited school two weeks ago said they stood by their decision not to include CCDS in a cover story on the region’s best high schools published last fall, though they said the school would be “in the running” if they were to generate their list again.

The Scroll exceeds 27,000 page views in seven weeks
