Poise of seniors fuels an unlikely comeback in the Ping-Pong tournament


Big time games are about big time decisions. Ping-pong is a sport of quick decisions, precise shots, and controlling emotions. The momentum of a game can switch in one second if these three things do not go in your favor. As Michael Barton ’13 and Patrick Wildman ’14 learned, in a game with so much at stake, emotions run high and the game can quickly turn around when you aren’t in the right mindset.

On Thursday, December 2nd, 2010, Cincinnati Country Day School witnessed the most epic ping-pong match in history. Seniors Rob Pierce and Cody Pomeranz took on sophomore Michael Barton and freshman Patrick Wildman in the final round of the CCDS Ping-Pong tournament (organized by senior Elizabeth Blackburn). Senior leadership brings soccer success


By Edwin Sam ‘13, Sports Editor. The CCDS Boys and Girls Soccer teams had extraordinary captains that inspired their teams to go the extra mile to win close games. The captains, or skippers as informally called in soccer, played well on a consistent basis and made everybody want to emulate their aggression and determination to get big wins.
