Shortly after the torch for Winter Olympics was extinguished, another breed of Olympians, the CCDS Science Olympiad team, competed at the Regional Science Olympiad competition at Raymond Walters College. The team earned district honors at the Saturday, March 6 event, placing fourth out of 24 of the top teams in Cincinnati and qualifying for the State competition.

In its third showing at the Northmont Invitational, Country Day’s Science Olympiad team earned its most impressive finish yet, placing an 9th out of 27 teams from across Midwest. With three ribbons and two medals in the 23 event competition, Country Day out-performed all other Cincinnati schools, including perennial powerhouses Wyoming and Mason.
