Mr. Polasko resigns: Hirsch now Head of Middle School

Relatively late in this past summer, it became apparent that drastic changes were going to be made to the administration of the Cincinnati Country Day School Middle School. Mr. John Polasko is not returning as Middle School Head, and Ms. Teresa Hirschauer has taken his place for the year as the interim Head until a replacement can be found.

Over 500 “grandfriends” visit CCDS

On Monday, Nov. 23, and Tuesday, Nov. 24, more than 500 grandparents and friends visited the Lower and Middle Schools for the annual Grandparents’ Day. Students invited their grandparents or other friends to come and enjoy the CCDS experience.

Students donate 2,092 pounds of turkey to needy

On Friday, Nov. 20, Middle School students passed 2,092 pounds of turkey – a total of 161 birds – from student to student as part of the third annual Turkey Train, benefiting the House of Refuge Mission Thanksgiving Food Drive. Additionally, the Upper School and Lower School donated a combined total of 1,597 food items to the cause.
