Consumed by caffeine: CCDS students rely on energy drinks and caffeine


By Caroline Gentile ‘13, News Editor. Because of its benefits, caffeine is the weapon of choice for hard-working students in their battle against fatigue. However, despite its beneficial qualities, caffeine consumption can sometimes be more hurtful then helpful.

Dance team unable to field fall squad, looks forward to winter season

Due to a lack of participation this season, there will be no dance team to support and cheer on other Upper School athletes this fall. However, the future for the dance team is auspicious; Coach Tracey Suekoff and interested participants have recently met to talk about their plans for the winter season and are very excited for the 2010-2011 team.

“Thoroughly Modern Millie” to premiere this weekend


By Isabella Guttman, ‘13, Contributor. “Thoroughly Modern Millie” is a romantic comedy that takes place during the time of the fast-changing life of the Roaring 20s, when jazz and bobbed hair were popular. Performances are in the Keeler Theater on Thursday, Feb. 25 and Friday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 27 at 1 and 7 p.m.
