Donna Fischer promoted, to move to Baltimore

For the past five years, Food Service Director Donna Fischer has been directing the culinary traffic patterns of students from the Early Childhood House to Upper School. Recently, she has accepted a position in the MidAtlantic Culinary Support Team in Baltimore, and will be moving to Baltimore to take the position next school year.

Country Date raises money for school, unites community


By Avery Maier, ‘13, News Editor. “Country Date is a wonderful evening for parents, faculty, staff, alumni, and past parents to socialize, connect and support the school,” said President of the Board of Trustees Julie Fleischmann. “This year’s Country Date chair-people did a marvelous job planning a fun and successful event.”

Bell change only somewhat effective at uniting MS


By Avery Maier, ’13, Contributor. At the start of the second semester, the MS implemented a new bell change, putting the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grades on the same schedule. This has led to overcrowding and noise, and not necessarily a more united MS.
