Armstead’s run to state caps off successful girls track season

On Friday, June 4th, 2010, Erika Armstead finished third in the Ohio state long jump event. This strong finish brought to a close a season in which the Indians won their third consecutive MVC championship and their 20th district title since 1985.

Tipton to take to soccer field at Bucknell


By Jules Cantor ‘11, Sports Section Editor. In late summer 2009, senior soccer player Corey Tipton committed to the Bison of Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. After transferring from Loveland High School and coming to Country Day during her junior year, Tipton had two remarkable seasons in an Indians uniform. The 2009 co-captain was an Enquirer all star, first team all-MVC, and first team all-city selection.

Girls soccer overcomes obstacles, places second in MVC

Girls soccer overcoming obstacles


Though hampered by injuries, the Indians certainly have the talent to go far in the post-season. Star players like senior co-captain Xanni Brown have shown no sign of slowing down their success. Brown has netted ten goals this season, leading the team.
