HUMOR: The real lyrics to those songs you thought you knew

Whether you’re in the car by yourself or at a school dance, learning that the lyrics you’d been proudly belting out are wrong is flat out embarrassing. On the other hand, sometimes learning the right lyrics opens up a whole new level of understanding to the song. To save you from uncomfortable situations and to help you decode confusing lyrics, here is a list of a few songs whose lyrics are commonly—or not so commonly—misheard (real lyrics are included as well).

Suburban College Fair lacks in Ivies, but gains out of state schools

At precisely 6:30pm on Wednesday October 5th, the doors of Cincinnati Country Day were opened, and in rushed a crowd of high school students with parents in tow, marking the beginning of CCDS’ 9th annual College Fair. However, if one was looking to talk to representatives from an Ivy League School, they would have little luck.

Programming no longer a graduation requirement

HUMOR: Secret to CCDS students’ academic success discovered

Although they are swamped with hours of homework, classes, sports, clubs, various academic competitions, SAT prep classes, extra credit work, study groups, Student Council, artistic endeavors, and a social life, CCDS students still manage to maintain their academic excellence. Other schools, overcome with jealousy, have time and time again tried to uncover the secret to Country Day’s success.
