By Mia Fatuzzo ‘15, Contributor. Due to a lack of interest, the yearly Los Angeles photo trip will not be taking place this year. Usually led by Upper School Art Department Head, Carole Lichty-Smith, the trip is typically a three day expedition to one of America’s most vibrant and colorful cities.

by Caroline Gentile ‘13, Co-Editor-In-Chief. After learning that one of her photos had won a Gold Medal at Scholastic Nationals last spring, Abby McInturf ‘13 thought that the competition was over. Several weeks ago, however, Abby found out that the same winning photo was one of 45 pieces of art selected by the President’s Committee on Arts and Humanities.

By Avery Maier, ‘13, News Editor. Freshman Jenny March’s dream of becoming a professional actress may soon come true. Jenny and her mother Jeanette are moving to Los Angeles for several months on March 1 so Jenny can pursue acting opportunities in the country’s entertainment capital.
