Senior leadership brings soccer success


By Edwin Sam ‘13, Sports Editor. The CCDS Boys and Girls Soccer teams had extraordinary captains that inspired their teams to go the extra mile to win close games. The captains, or skippers as informally called in soccer, played well on a consistent basis and made everybody want to emulate their aggression and determination to get big wins.

Ten seniors named National Merit Semifinalists


By Amanda Young ‘11, Co-Editor-in-Chief. Ten members of the Class of 2011 have been named National Merit Semifinalist. The Semifinalists make up 18.9 percent of this year’s seniors, the highest percentage of Semifinalists in any senior class in Cincinnati.

Girls soccer overcoming obstacles


Though hampered by injuries, the Indians certainly have the talent to go far in the post-season. Star players like senior co-captain Xanni Brown have shown no sign of slowing down their success. Brown has netted ten goals this season, leading the team.
