Enrollment applications up 15% this year


By Avery Maier, ‘13, News Editor. This year, CCDS has received 240 applications for admission, 15% more than this time last year. 140 of the 240 have been accepted. Of the 140 accepted, 60 students have committed so far to attending CCDS in the fall, putting the school 20 students ahead as compared to last year at this time.

Nineteen new students join Upper School


The Upper School welcomes 19 new students, continuing a trend of 16 to 20 new students a year that began in the 2003-2004 school year. Despite the large number of new students, this year’s Upper School is slightly smaller, partly because the freshman class is slightly smaller than last year’s senior class. Overall, CCDS has 25 to 30 fewer students than last year.
